Forbidden You don’t have permission Please help

    Hello,
    I’m having issues with permissions on certain files.

    I’m trying to update the footer of theme via the editor. That didn’t work until I changed permissions of the footer.php file. Now I see the update button but when I try and update, I get the following:

    Forbidden You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/theme-editor.php on this server.

    I tried changing permissions to these files but it did not work.

    Any help is appreciated.
