Newbie Needs Help

Hi,

What is the difference between a “theme” and a “template?” For example, we are using the theme “edegree.”

I was given the clear impression that it was possible to ascribe a new theme and/or template to each individual WP page, yet I can see no way in the interface to do this. Am I mistaken?

If there is no way to have different themes applied to different wp “pages,” is there a way to create separate blogs with separate themes and/or templates? I have the basic v2.9.1 download and installation. Again, I see no way in the interface to do this.
