If I try to edit OR create a new post with the words “where” or “into” in the body of the content, and then hit ‘save as draft’ or ‘publish’ or ‘save changes’ (as the case may be) the browser just hangs… spins and spins and doesn’t update and then eventually times out.

If I remove the word “where” in the post, it saves/publishes just fine.

All of my posts (new or old) that have one or both of these words simply break.

This is truly bizarre. Has anyone else experienced this?

    How to fix???

I seriousl doubt that it has anything to do with the words “where” or “into”. Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    increasing your available memory?

Could be a bad mod_security rule getting a bit confused into thinking that those words are dodgy SQL. I’d speak to the host to see what they say about it.
