WordPress can’t update plugins automaticly

    Hello friends i have been expericing some problems with updating plugins, usually hen i have a plugin wordpress suggest to me to update it automaticly, but now it says:

    Downlaoding plugin …..
    Unpacking…..

    and then nothing……
    I stops in unpacking, i have tried this with several plugins and none of them work for update… i have tried in 3 browers, firefox,explorer,chrome and nothing worked…. the funny thing is that i have tried with and other site wiht wordpress and worked…. so the problem is with one particular site.

    What can be done??? i m using 2.9.2
