I get this message when i try to add a post/event to my blog:

    EventBrite Error
Application Key Error: You have reached your API request quota for the day. Your API key is limited to 1000 API requests per day.

I did not send 1000 requests. I only sent one.
Also I checked my API key in my User option and everything is correct.

    Thanks,
    Pierrick

I got the same exact message yesterday and it broke the calendar on both the front and back end of the site – all I could do was disable the event brite plugin to get the calendar to even load.

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll forward this to eventbrite. There should be no cap on our plugin api key as per our agreement with them.

Turns out they were updating the api throttle code and accidentally reinstated outs. Throttle was removed this morning.

    Sorry folks.

Thanks for the update Shane – Good to know 🙂

Has something changed again at eventbrite? The reason I ask is that this morning I was working on a test area of mine and came across this error message of reaching the limit. With this being a test blog, there are only three people that have access to it, so am pretty sure that we haven’t made 10000 requests.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

    Thanks. I’ll bug them again.

Ok they have raised our limits again. Popular plugin is a good problem.
