   I have found a plugin that allows a user to subscribe themselves to a post, and receive an email when any more posts are made.

   I've just set up WP to use on a trip to Europe, and we have some relatives that are not computer literate. Ideally I'd like to have the system automatically send an email anytime we post a new message on the blog.

   Try Skippy's Subscribe2 pugin.
