Any recommendations for best Subcribe/Newsletter plugin?

    The current plugin i have is “Subscribe2” which is decent but the only options I get for sending the emails are : Hourly, Twice Daily, Once Daily and Weekly. I am looking for a one that enables me to create a new email and send it whenever theres an announcement of some sort rather than it auto-sending for every post I make or hourly n so on. Please help!

    I’d use mailchimp and a corresponding subscription plugin. Alternatively mailpress, though it has some drawbacks.
