Where do I find WordPress eXtended RSS (WXR) files

    I’m trying to move my old posts over to a new installation because the old one is jacked up beyond my capacity to understand after 13 hours of trying to figure it out.

    Are these files found in self hosted installations ot is this just for WordPress.com blogs?
