[Plugin: The Events Calendar] Sidebar widget not showing same day event

    ok, its 10:15 am and the same day is showing on the sidebar widget.

    Now I have couple theories to test.

    theory 1) is it a timing issue? I will have to test throughout the day to see if the same day disappears at a particular time of day?

    I know the plugin works off the admin settings, but I swear, the UTC -4 is correct based on my timezone (est)

    Theory 2) Is this a day of the week bug. If theory #1 does not pan out, I will have to test this thorough the week to see if the day of the week has anything to do with showing the same day events.

    My WP configuration is set to week starts on Sunday.

    12:00 pm, site showed same day Events
    1:30 pm Site showed same day events
    2:00 pm Site does not show same day events…..

    Seems to be a site/server time issue……however, dont know why since my admin setting is set to UTC -4 and at 2:00 pm the utc stting is showing “UTC -4 is 2:00 pm”

    Also just checked my Plesk setting and it is set to GMT -4 (at 2pm plesk is displaying time as 14:00)

    Any help would greatly be appreciated

    If you are having this issue, please responde to this thread.

    I would like to know if my 2pm removal of the “same day” is unique to my site or are others also seeing it dissappear from the widget at 2pm….

    I am having the same issue on Lowell.com. The events on the home page widget (upper right) move to previous events before they even start. I’ve done some testing, and it seems to be impacted by the end time rather than the start.

    Does anyone have a fix? I have 1.5.6 installed and am using WordPress 2.9.2.

    I just found my way here regarding the same issue with TEC 1.6.3 in WP 3.0. One of my clients has a performance tonight at 7pm, the end of a four-day run. When I checked at 2am it was no longer considered “upcoming” on both the widget and the events list. Final day, gone. We are in Pacific Time (UTC -7), as is our server. This is fairly important as it affects the promotion of paying gigs. If anything, I’d rather events linger too long versus disappearing too soon. Many thanks!

    Same problem here. The Events Calendar current date highlights tomorrow, most likely because it is “tomorrow” in UTC-0 time. I am UTC -7.
