    Hello,

I have viewed all of the support topics related to this issue, but have not found an answer yet.

I have a Google calendar (.ics feed) being pulled into my site using the amr-ical-events-list plugin, which works great. It pulls in the next 2 weeks of upcoming events with no problem. Though, a few events are missing, I have discovered these are recurring monthly events, which some have started several months ago. I’m not sure if the reason they are not displaying is because they are monthly events, or if it is because they started in the past. Though, it could be that I’m totally missing something (maybe a setting I missed, or some special character is messing it up).

Here is a link to a page that has the Google calender fully displayed (with all the events):
    http://thechefsloft.com/calendar

Here is a link to a page that has the sidebar of upcoming events (this is the listing that is missing a few events):
    http://thechefsloft.com/events-at-the-loft

I would appreciate any thoughts that anyone has.

    Thank you!
    Ben

    Hi there,
It is not the “past” that is the problem. The plugin does not currently have the logic to cope with “numbered” bydays – see description of plugin

….further implementations (eg: last day of year, 2nd to last monday of month etc) can be requested, and may be coming!….

    , or for more details:
    http://icalevents.anmari.com/1957-ical-specifications/

So every thursday will work, but BYDAY=4TH, ie every 4th Thursday will not. I have the logic worked out, but have not had the time to code it. No promises… I may squeeze the time in the next few days… If you are keen on staying with the plugin, you could add the dates individually for a few weeks/months and make a note to check back with me in a couple of weeks.

Thank you for the response. I can wait for the update. That would be great if it was coming some time soon.

I do understand the challenges that arise from creating that kind of logic, as I was part of a team of developers who worked on a web calendar that synced with a Microsoft Exchange server. Recurring events can be brutal!

Anyways, thank you for the great plugin! I look forward to the next update.
