requested theme does not exist and manage theme page full of error messages

    Hi,

    I’ve found some other similar queries but nothing that deals with the error messages on the manage themes page which now shows up as this:

    Warning: uksort() [function.uksort]: The argument should be an array in /homepages/30/d315926463/htdocs/michalos/wp-admin/themes.php on line 65

    Warning: array_slice() [function.array-slice]: The first argument should be an array in /homepages/30/d315926463/htdocs/michalos/wp-admin/themes.php on line 86

    When I click on editor, I get the ‘does not exist message’.

    Don’t know how I did it. Was tinkering around with background images in the stylesheet and then this.

    Tried logging out a back in a few times. Tried re-uploading the theme. Alarmingly, I seem to have lost the other themes I had installed to.

    Hoping somebody can help me with this one.

    FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) and rename your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes. This will activate the default theme.

    If the problem persists, try re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress

    I now have the same exact problem. How did you resolve it? I was uploading some new themes thru FTP and when I went to check the site I had the same errors. I have since moved all the theme files out and only have the classic and default. I also reloaded the admin and the includes folders. Still nothing. HELP if you can Please!

    esmi, your advice worked. I was having the same problem, and I simply renamed my theme’s folder. The default theme worked, and when I went back to reload the theme I wanted, I was able to access the editor. No more “theme does not exist” errors. Thank you!

    Turning safe_mode off helped for me.
