[Plugin: Gigs Calendar] Venue homepage link not working

    I just added this plugin and it works great except for one thing. Not sure I’m doing this right, but when I enter a Homepage on the Venue page, it looks fine, but when I click on the venue name link in the blog, it adds a bunch of crazy characters at the end.

    For example, I put in

    http://www.olivascoffeehouse.com/

    and it tries to take me to:

    http://www.oliviascoffeehouse.com%e2%80%8e/

    I’ve tried it without the http and without the trailing backslash, but I can’t get it to leave off the extra code. Please let me know what I’m doing wrong. I tried to find a way to contact the author (Dan C.), via his blog or home site, but there was no contact information.

    I’m absolutely loving this plugin and plan to contribute, but really hope this can be fixed. Maybe it’s a WordPress version issue?

    Okay, after deleting the entry and adding it again several times, I finally got it to work. No idea why, since nothing changed, but the extra characters are now gone. And as promised, I have contributed to the author. 🙂
