At this time, WordPress uses a few MySQL-isms that makes converting to PostgreSQL rather challenging.
If you search these forums, several people have announced that they started trying to convert; but we've never heard back from them. =(

There is, or was, a port of WordPress that provides PostgreSQL support, but it's based on WP 1.2.1. You'll find a link to it from the Codex page above.
Damn. My host only offers postgresql. Are there any plans of making WordPress compatible with postgresql in the future?
Did you read the Codex link? It explains why chances are silm (if I'm reading it right) that a conversion will occur. I mean, MySQL is free and I think the most widely used, so...
