[Plugin: ICS Calendar] Event list limit other than 0, will say “no upcoming events”

I’m trying to use this great plugin on a site in order to replace another plugin that conflicted with some other plugin. And I’m totally sold on using this one except that when I use the show-ics-events shortcode or the widget it won’t show any events if I limit the number of events. Unlimited it will show all of them, but if I select a limit in either the shortcode or widget it says “There are no events.”

help me please, I can’t list them all, especially not in a sidebar widget.
