parse error when login

    When I click ‘login’ – when anyone does – I get this message:

    Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/.wackywasherkiln/jkv_spt/purplegoddessinfrogpyjamas.net/thoughts/wp-login.php on line 232

    since I haven’t modified any code anywhere, this makes no sense to me. Help?

    I think this error is due to a file in the another directory.It could have been corrupted on upload.

    Delete everything inside the /wp-includes folder and reupload.
    If that does not solve it, then do the same for the /wp-admin folder.

    If you have any modified files in those directories, leave them alone.

    Okay, I did that and am still getting the same error 🙁

    Any other ideas?
