I have a database table with several thousand entries. Is there a plugin that I can set wordpress to search a specified table in the database?

I was thinking of using php-myadmin to create a table and then import the data to it.

Anyone know of a solution for that?

Search Reg-Ex comes to mind http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search-regex/ This might let you search the database from the backend. Can you be more specific? What kind of data? You’ll need to query the database at somepoint to render it into a webpage that can be viewable by the public.

I have a table of titles, authors, and length. But I only want to perform the search of titles.
