Looking for a way to do an online auction

    I want to create a WP site have a user post and item and offer it for sale – the payment goes through me and someone can check out. Is there a classified or eBay clone that can do this?

    It’s old and maybe not maintained anymore, but plugin wp-auctions used to let you create auctions and show them as a sidebar widget in your blog

    There was another one too, but I can’t remember the name of it – search the plugins using “auctions” or google for “wordpress auctions” and I’m sure you’ll find it.

    Prospress is a new plug-in, still in beta that is supposed to allow you to let others place items for sale on your site. You get paid for the listing, but I payment goes to the seller.

    Ended up using Joomla with Auction Factory. Interesting experience. Would still like to find a WP solution.
