Intermittent 500 internal server error

The site is up at http://pro.kartlink.com but I get the error when I try to get into the admin. It’s not doing it all the time, but I’d like to sort it out if I can. There’s no .htaccess, and I looked in the error log which said wp-admin/index.php is writable by others but it isn’t according to my FTP
