• Actually, 2.9.2 – only that’s not on the drop down list.

I’ve got two blogs, both 2.9.2.

    I’ve also just set up a 3rd, for a fairly non-technical friend.

In one of my blogs I’m using the default template. I’ve added my own image as the header, from memory, as i did it quite a while ago, I had to upload the image, name it kubrickheader & drop it into the right place.

Now, I see that it’s got the option under appearance of “Header Image & Colour” – though I can’t see a way to change the image, just the colours.

In the other blog, I’ve used Techland 10 theme & that’s got an option that says “Custom Header” – and has the option to upload an image. (I’m fairly sure, looking at it, that’s how I did it for that particular blog).

The one I set up last night, using Fantastico (wanted to test it for my non-techhy friend) I’ve left at present at the default) & it’s got under “Appearance” just “Custom header” – and just allows me to change the colour.

Would I be right in thinking, therefore, that the ability to upload an image is more related to the theme than whether it says “Custom header” or “Header image & Colour” as an option under appearance??

(I could, of course, do what I did for my original blog & upload an image with the correct dimensions & name, but I’d rather have a way that’s easy for her to change the image when she wants)
Is it a case of selecting the right template to allow it?
