changed WP template paragraph formatting changed

I uploaded a new template and now my paragraphs are not formatted correctly on old posts. Lines stop mid-sentence and move to the next line as well as other paragraph formatting issues.

Is there a way I can correct this without re-creating all of the old posts/dates?
