• I serve the vast majority of my static content – images, javascript, flash etc from a cookieless subdomain and have defined the COOKIE_DOMAIN within wp-config.php with the name of my main domain – however, Cookies For Comments doesn’t appear to obey this value (if it is defined) and sends cookie requests with everything.

    Would it be possible to either have the plugin obey the value of COOKIE_DOMAIN (if defined) and only set cookies for this domain or restrict it to the appropriate file(s) within a typical WordPress installation. By restricting its behaviour in this way, would it reduce the effectiveness of the plugin?
