In search for a theme

    Hi Guys,

    I’ve been using wordpress for some time now and I love it!

    Now I’d like to start a new project but I’m not sure if WordPress has to functionalities I need.

    Basicly I would need A homepage with a video and some basic contact information,…

    I’d like to have pages like: Artist, Catalog, Song, Songwriters, Contact

    The artist page would have information like: Bio, Copyright info, a .mp3 file to stream some music of them…

    I know this is a lot of stuff

    Any themes/plugins/… that provide this functionalities? Or should I check other CMSs?

    Well, You can set static homepages in WP, thats a start

    You can set up individual pages in WP, so that covers your artist, catalog, etc

    any page can have any content, that’s not even an issue
    (you can find many audio player plugins to be able to have streaming music…Ive got tonnes on my site)

    WP is a great CMS, just gotta set it up

    Pretty much any theme can do what you want, find one you like, edit it a bit if need be, or as @casy001 suggested, you can make your own theme

    It would need functionalities like these, but I wordpress is the wrong CMS for this… no?

    Hi, nothing impossible there but you need to invest some time and gain some knowledge or hire it .
