associate a small image with a post

I’ve been looking around and so far have turned up a blank…

I’m wondering if anyone has found a plugin that would allow one to specify a small image along with each post? I’m trying to avoid running and inline php in my templates, so a plugin would be preferred.

basically what I am trying to emulate is a system similar to ign.com. I would like to specify different size image(s) while i’m posting a news story and have them display automatically in my templates in the proper places.
