    Hello,
    I am using WordPress 2.9.2. When I want to write a new post, the page becomes blank white screen. I’ve updated post-new.php file in wp-admin folder but it did not correct the issue. How to fix it, any recommendations is appreciated.

  • Try deactivating plugins. If that resolves the problem, reactivate one-by-one to find the culprit.

    Also could be you need more memory allocated to PHP–methods for increasing the amount of memory a PHP script may consume

    1. If you have access to your PHP.ini file, change the line in PHP.ini
    If your line shows 32M try 64M:
    memory_limit = 64M ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (64MB)

    2. If you don’t have access to PHP.ini try adding this to an .htaccess file:
    php_value memory_limit 64M

    3. Try adding this line to your wp-config.php file:
    define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M');

    4. Talk to your host.

    When I deactivated all plugins, it worked. I will find out which one’s making trouble. Thank a lot.

    Personally it worked when I deactivated the W3 Total Cache plugin, then activated it again.
