• As the subject states, scheduled posts aren’t being listed in the WP admin area, in the “Edit Posts” section. When writing out a post, I’m able to set the future date and hit schedule, and the page refreshes to show that the post was successfully scheduled, and the live URL to it works just fine. But if I go to Edit Posts, the post isn’t being shown. I have scheduled out several posts with various titles, categories, tags, etc., yet none of them are visible. The blog isn’t using any plugins that could possibly interfere with the display of scheduled posts. Has anyone ever encountered this quirk before? Is there a solution? Please help!

Edited to add: it appears that the scheduled posts aren’t publishing, either. Also, searching for words used within the scheduled posts produces no results in the “Edit Posts” section of the dashboard.

  • Hi, Sorry to ask this, but are you sure you hit “Update Post” button after putting in a Publish Date? (It may also read “Schedule” depending on context) When you change the Publish Date, the new date is visible, and you can preview the page, all without having actually saved it. Sometimes an Autosave will save you by making a draft, but if you’re moving quickly and, say, hit the Back button, you could lose your stuff.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve lost Publish date that way. If it’s not that, whoa, I don’t know!

    Cheers, Dave
