Statpress is reporting very weird numbers

Hi, everyone… I’ve been trying to get an answer for this at the Statpress forum, but apparently nobody ever goes there, so here I am.
I have the sidebar widget in 2 blogs, and it has different problems in each one.
In one, I have it set to display daily visitors and total visitors, and eg: in the morning, it shows 10/325 (daily and total), in the afternoon it goes to 14/296!!! I can never get an accurate read.
In the other blog, it was showing my total visitors: 33,000, and all of a sudden it started showing 11,000.
Is there a way to fix this? Is there any other plugin I can use just to get an idea of how many visitors I get? I also tried Count per day, but that’s also messed up since it starts at some European time, so I can never know what my real visitors for that day are and I can’t set it to my time zone. (The day starts sometime in the afternoon, never at the same time)
