No links work on my site.

    This morning I opened my wordpress site and discovered that none of the links work to secondary pages. I can’t even log in. I did get some kind of spam post notice overnight because it came through my email. I did a link check and it showed a redirect from all of the social bookmarks from a plugin I got here at WP.

    I did a w3-xhtml validation check and it only shows the few mistakes I was working on already. Is this common enough that someone here can tell me what it is and what I can do to fix it?

    try switching to default permalinks
    admin – settings – permalinks

    test site – does it work?
    if so, reset to pretty permalinks

    if doesn’t work – delete .htacces entirely and reset your permalinks to desired
