P2 Recent Tags Widget – Sort tags alphabetically?

Hello!

With a number of edits I’ve turned my P2 installation into a scrapbook for documentary research; working really well.

However, I’m building up a large number of tags and I need to sort them alphabetically in the sidebar. As I’m using the native widget, I can see that widgets/recent-tags.php contains the code for it.

The problem is, I can’t see any obvious way to change the sort order, help?

One other thing, has anyone implemented an AJAX refresh of the Recent Tags? I’d love the Recent Tags widget in the sidebar to refresh every time I submit a new entry.
