• I made a new back up of my site running 2.9.1 and installed Alkivia Open Community 0.10.3

I created page named Activity Wall and choose that from the plugin options. Anything else I need to do? I created a new post and comment but it’s not showing up.

  • Me too. I choose the profile-wall as the template for the profile page, and in the “activity wall” tab column of the profile page, nothing appears.

Tonight I’ll try going back to 0.10.2 and see if it comes back.

I tried version 0.10 to 0.10.3 still a blank activity wall, odd.

Any ideas? I was planning to enable this for my members as a extra surprise by March 1st ..

Activity is only recorded from when the component Activity has been activated. I understand that you have this plugin active and it does not show any activity taken place since then.

Check on General settings that you have activity wall active… If not, the wall template, shows nothing.

If the component is active, check your database has a table named wp_aoc_activity.

Tell me about to try to isolate the problem, as I cannot reproduce it on any of my sites. (Perhaps I’m not finding where the problem is and are obfuscated missing some test.)

The component is active. I checked my database. There is not a wp_aoc_activity table. Wonder why?

aaah .. so it doesnt display the activity that took place prior to its activation ?

That should definitely be emphasized in the plugin’s menus ..

I activated it now, and will test it. Thanx

Btw, I also looked into my database, there is no “wp_aoc_activity”.. there is even no tables that start with “wp_aoc”.

Table is created at component activation. Look for a table ending ‘aoc_activity’.

Will check if component fails to create the table in some circumstances.

Ok, I just installed this on my main blog (not the test one) for the 1st time. Still no table ending in “aoc_activity” can I create this manually?

This is the process I followed:

Installed Plugin > Select a Page for the Community Page > Save > Activate Activity Wall > Save > Go to the Activity Wall Settings > Select a Global Activity Page > Save

Then I added a new comment, edited a couple posts, etc. Nothing shows up.

I can arrange to give you access to my testing blog if you’d like Txanny

I’m running WP 2.9.1 and Open Community 0.10.3

Just sent you a donation Txanny in hopes of fixing the Activity wall πŸ™‚
I’ll send some more $ after it’s fixed.

xberserker… many thanks for the donation! It’s really welcome.

I just released 0.10.4 which should fix this issue. Install the new release and look if the table gets created. It should be created just installing the new release.

If just updating does not create the table. Give another try deactivating and reactivating the activity wall component (Not the plugin, just the component).

    Hope this solves this issue.

That fixed it! One question, when somebody adds/edits a post/page it says it was done 7 hours ago. Instead of just a few minutes ago.

But when I updated my profile data, that displayed correctly, with “just now”. I also commented on a post. But that didn’t show up in the feed.

mm there was some comments stuck in the spam and I marked them as not spam then approved them. Then it showed up in the activity feed.

But regular comments are not coming threw.

Oh, when I approve the spam comments and they show in the activity feed. It says 7 hours ago instead of just now or a few minutes ago. Those spam comments I approved where not 7 hours old either.

Sadly regular comments are still not coming threw.

I’m following this, but a b it busy this week and have no much time to text, find and fix. Hope I’ll found some time soon to follow that.
