Comments box missing

I added the line in the page.php theme file, and I now get ‘0 comments’ at the end of each post. A step in the right direction, but unfortunately, when you click on it you get a 404 error message. I still get a 404 for page continuation and I still can’t get an rss feed to work. For rss I tried the ‘$feed=rss’ as was advised in one post, but no luck. I need to get these problems fixed.

I’ve changed it a few times, hoping it would make the problems disappear. And I did put the code in the .htaccess file.
How do I get rid of the double url? Do I simply remove the http:/smallbones.ca’ part?

Thanks again, it’s finally working with /blog%year%/%postname%/ (I had a simple /%postname%/ in there before & it didn’t work!)

I think my only remaining problem is that I still can’t get the rss feed to work, though. It says “A feed could not be found at http://smallbones.ca” no matter what put after that. (BTW, I did post this in a separate post but have not rec’d any replies in 3 days so I hope it’s okay to continue here. You’re a great resource Samboll, and I thank you for your help.)

Woohoo! There were 2 lines in the config file — thank-you again, so much, Samboll!

Now that I’ve finally got everything working, I see there’s an update wp 2.9.2. I’m afraid to do it!
