Allow Editor to access tools

    I need to allow the Editor role access to the Tools area so they can then get access to the WordPress Database Backup tool and backup the database every now and again. The Editor is the client.

    Is anyone able to tell me how to do this? If this is not possible can someone please tell me how backup is managed from a client perspective? Obviously once the site goes live and the client starts using the site they will need to be able back their blog up themselves.

    Thanks so much for replying to my post. I have been looking for a plugin called role manager but it appears that one is no longer in existence as couldn’t see it in the plugin list.

    Hi there. Have installed Role Scoper but there doesn’t seem to be any area where you can set permissions to use tools. Can anyone give me a heads up as to how to do this or if it is even possible.

    I just want my client to be able to edit pages, posts and the tools area. Does role scoper do this?
