  • You need your primary keyword in your blog title, description, <title> attribute, content, page names, your domain, your internal anchor text, anchor text from other sites, and other places to make sure Google associates your site with those words. Just google “WordPress SEO” and you’ll get some good reading. One thing to keep in mind is that it’s not worth making your site look spammy by using “keyword speak” and keyword cramming just to bump your SEO rankings.

Download the free version of WebSEO.

It’s a good way to start your sites using this. It analyses your site using the keyword you want to use, and provides a report on what you need to change.

The Free version is not the greatest SEO tool, but it’s good to get you on the right track.
