Editing Code or adding widgets doesnt appear on blog

hi.
today i’m updating the blog and i wanted to remove some widgets and remove others. But if i remove, it reflects the change in the widgets menu but not on the blog. I removed the theme and added again but it remained the same. so, i tried to translate some parts of the theme but when i save it but nothing that i did appears on the blog.

What’s the problem? the theme, a bug on wordpress??

by the way i’m using mystique theme 1.72
