Categories Disappeared from Front Page

    Hi,

    My Categories Disappeared from the Front Page after I used the
    “category to tag converter”, applied to all Categories ( I guess I misunderstood the feature.
    I tried to convert them back to categories with no success whatsoever.

    I have no problem browsing a category by itself like:
    Health,
    although 70% of my Subcategories got deleted.

    Now if I go to: LINK
    I get :
    Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/ravensh1/public_html/www.sectionarticle.com/wp-content/themes/article-directory/404.php on line 23

    On other side line 23 is:
    <a href="<?php bloginfo('url'); ?>/">Home</a> &raquo; <?php echo(get_category_parents($cat, TRUE, ' &raquo; ')); ?>

    I have tried to Deactivate all plugins —> no result
    Deactivating theme and activating it back on —-> nothing

    I will appreciate any help.

    After spending almost 10hrs browsing the net and playing with my DB values I decided that it’s going to take me much less time to rebuild the whole website, losing all the existing content.
    So nvm the topic, just remember always do Backup before you use something new, you’re not sure about 🙂
