Help! Post is not loading in edit mode

    Ok, this is strange. I just changed the date on one of my posts in quick edit mode to an earlier date and then when I tried to go into normal edit mode to make some text modifications the post actually wouldnt load. It just loads a blank page! What the…? The post shows fine on my website, with the edited date, but I just dont seem to be able to access it anymore via the WP editor. It does give the correct post ID in the url but like I said, the whole site just comes up blank (it doesnt even show the editor).

    I changed the date back to the original one via quick edit but that didnt fix the issue. Strangely enough I also changed the date on another post (to a later date) and that one still loads for editing. Anyone knows what this is and how I can fix it?

    I dont know if this has to do with me having upgraded to the newest WP version (2.9.1). Previously in 2.7 I never had a problem with quick editing post dates. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?
