API Key for current blog

    How can I get the API key for current blog, public wp used. there really is none in the profile spot. signed up again, this one has the API key but it is now a new site???????

    You mean you’re on your self-hosted WP not on WordPress.com right?
    And which API key are you asking about? There are so many kinds from different apps nowadays 🙂

    yes, I guess that’s it, and I wanted to put in plugins, an API key is needed to do this?/

    I’ve just learned that my site was set up with a self host WP, I had help setting it up. Does this mean I won’t be getting an API for it. Can the new one I set up earlier today be moved to the blog I already have. I’m trying to figure out if I can still work with the site I have been posting for the last three months, or can I mesh them to work together. I don’t want to lose the work already done.

    Ok, good to know that you’re on self-hosted WP. Again, which API key are you asking about? Akismet, Google, other kinds?
