• It seems that i have a very common problem, but i can’t solve it; i have tried everything i found at this forum, (check if the fields are correct, make sure that MySQL is running, etc…) but nothing works.
The problem is this. After running install-config.php i got a page with something like this:
    ———————
    Warning: fopen(“../wp-config.php”, “w”) – Permission denied in c:\wwwsites\adenoiacom\www\wordpress\wp-admin\install-config.php on line 124
    ———————–
I contacted my webhost provider and he told me that i have to reconfigurate wordpress because the path doesn’t exist. Can someones tell me how to do this or what can i do? Thanks.
    P.S. sorry for my “english”

Sorry for the last message, i sent it by error and i just realize it’s incomplete.
I ignore all the error messages, but when i proceeded with the installation, a new message appeared:
    ———-
    CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are: (there are no headers)
    ———————
I read something about this at other posts, i tried to re-upload everything, change the permissions, etc… but that doesn’t work.
Also, the URL (when the cgi error appeared) is: …/wp-admin/wp-admin/install.php
As you can see, i’m lost. Hope you can help me. Thanks.

It is possible your host is not compatible with WP.

I get the same errors when TRYING to install in a subdomain single database .
I am running WP without a problem on the root.
and I don’t want to set up multiple databases..
I ‘ve been struggling with this for 3 days and about to give up.. HELP..

    dont’t want multiple db’s ?

Please explain what exactly you are trying to do.
