• I just installed the WordPress Default 1.6 theme (Kubrick). How do I change the info in the header, now it looks like:

    grumpyguy.org
    grumpyguy.org WordPress weblog
    (over a blue background)

I’d like to change all the text and add a different graphic for the background. I think I found the background graphic file – header-img.php but have no clue as to where/how it’s pulling the text. Thanks.

  • The text is defined at: Settings (to the bottom left) >> General. To change the image, replace the image in /wp-content/themes/kubrick/images/kubrickheader.jpg with an image by the same name with the dimensions of 760 X 200px.

    hi LennyB,
if you dont want the same name of image then make image name change in the stylesheet.css file of your theme.

    That’s definitely true. Good point.
