Calendar causes site to stall during June

    I ran about six or seven different searches and couldn’t come up with anything. I have the calendar displayed on my site, and it works great, with one issue. I haven’t posted during June yet, so when the page tries to load, the calendar hangs only displaying the month and MTWTFSS, then nothing, then the back link to May. How can I get the calendar to load even if there are no posts?

    Well, I decided to activate the staticize plugin on my blog, and now it works fine. Then I deactivated it, and it locks up again. I wonder what causes it to lock up with no posts when everything is dynamic, but work fine with static enabled.
