Any idea as to where I install the search engines meta tags..

I did install three of them but, the search engines like Google say they can’t find it, so I can’t get spotted by them..

    Thanks Ron..

  • Hi Ron,

Typically meta tags such as <title> <keywords> <description> etc are placed in the Header file of your theme’s template somewhere between the opening <head>and closing</head> tags.

Also, if you’re uncomfortable with manual placement, you can download a plugin called “All in One SEO Pack” which will place these tags for you dynamically and allow you to customize them for different areas of your site. Hope that helps!

    Thanks idowens.

I did enter them in the theme I’m using now and also the default theme.Using the Header File. Installed right under the themes Meta Tag..

I also went into the cpanel and rechecked both themes, and there they are just sitting as pretty as ever.

I also downloaded and installed the All in one SEO Pack. This is where I started from. After entering the Meta tags I received from the three, I went back to Verify the domain. Nothing can’t find..

Oh well win some lose some.. Maybe I’ll be lucky and try to Verify again, see what happens..

Thanks for your help, appreciate it.

    Ron..
