[Plugin: phpbb_recent_topics] Recent topics list does not update itself

    Hi, I have installed the plugin correctly, everything seems to be working right, but the list of recen topics remains the same as yesterday, even though there have been new topics posted today. But these recent topics are not being shown, and I don’t know why.

    Just wanted to bump this up in case someone has a quick fix for this. I am having this problem as well.

    Looks like I posted before diving in. Upon viewing the SQL query, I found the list is ordered by “topic_time” so only newly created threads show up on the list (as suggested by the plugin title 🙂 ).

    I simply changed it to “topic_last_post_time” and now it shows the latest posts regardless of the threads age.

    Hopefully that helps anyone else wanting a similar functionality. Thanks for the great plugin!

    Yes, this was what I was looking for. This would give the “active” post on the list, instead of the newly created topics. This now means that topics that get discussed pop backup on the list of topics.

    Now this would be a great simple feature that could be added to this plugin, a simple checkbox in the settings and a if-then-else statement… simple enough.

    Looking forward to the next release of this pluging.
