Soundcloud embedded player not working after upgrading to WordPress 2.9.1

    Hi, I have been using Soundcloud shortcode player with WordPress 2.8.6 and Plugin Version 1.1.6.

    Two days ago I upgraded to WordPress 2.9.1 and today when I tried to use the sidebar of my player (info / download / share / volume/ comments) it’s not “clickable” anymore, they look like frozen dead buttons with no use…

    I don’t know if it has to do with my upgrade or not but all the 6 different players I have on my blog are not working as before.

    On WordPress plugins I see that there’s an upgrade to the Soundcloud plugin to version 1.1.8 but when I visit the site it says this version has not been tested with WordPress 2.9.1 yet.

    I tried to use both embedded player or the shortcode player and both of then are not working. I tried on 2 different computers and browsers (safari+firefox).

    I’m really lost and don’t know what to do anymore…

    Any hints?

    I just tried to update to 1.1.8 Soundcloud shortcode plugin version and the problem continues, don’t know what to do anymore… Could be a problem with my server?

    Please, any help!

    Well, I really begin to ask myself: why they want us to upgrade so eagerly? We keep receiving messages and remembering: upgrade, upgrade, upgrade, upgrade…

    Shouldn’t WordPress staff make the upgrades more consistent before asking us to do so?

    Let’s list the headaches of my 2.8.6 to 2.9.1 upgrade:

    – Lost all my tags;
    – Lost all my categories;
    – Can’t install or upgrade Plugins anymore;
    – Soundcloud player is not working properly anymore.

    Now the benefits:

    – An abstract number that reads “2.9.1” instead of “2.8.6” and nothing more.

    Now I’ll have to find an old back-up of the blog and try to restore everything back so those main features may work again, what a waste of time and headache for an upgrade.

    Ok, I’ll keep talking to myself and updating my problem: the Soundcloud player is not working only in the main page, when I click in the title of the post and it redirects me to read only the actual post the player works fine…

    I mean here in the main page it’s not working:
