Creating a “second homepage” or second blogging page

    Hi,

    On my blog, I would like to have one main homepage blog that lists most of my posts, but a kind of secondary blog page where I can send other blog posts on a slightly different subject matter.

    Pages as far as I am aware are more static so can’t do this, and while I’m using categories, if I do this my posts still turn up on my main homepage, where I don’t want them to show.

    Is there a way of creating two blogging sections. Is this something to do with The Loop?

    Any help would be great.
