Post comment box disappearing

No help in over 24 hours; so I’ll try again. Did not find any similar posts. Please help. Thanks.

When I check the allow comments box in the post editor and then update, the reply (comments) box appears on the page of all post pages. But, if I navigate away from the blog and then return, the comment boxes are gone. Can anyone please help? Thanks.

PS. Even though the comment box is on post pages when edited and updated and viewed, they are not on the actual site when viewed in another tab or browser.

Are comments currently turned on for all pages?

No, just for the blog, not static pages. Thanks.

I couldn’t reproduce any problem with posts like http://anewmind.net/blog/2009/11/14/life-is-simple/

The comment form is present and correct – even if I navigated away from the post to another site and came back a little later.

Yes, I see that, but how did you get to that URL? When I use my URL, I’m taken to my home page. When I click on the A New Mind Daily BLog link, I arrive at http://anewmind.net/blog/a-new-mind-daily-blog/ where there is no comment form but only this:

If I click on “no Comments,” I’m taken to http://anewmind.net/blog/2010/01/02/powerful-fact1-fear-is-nothing-but-thought/#respond where there is a comment box. But, most visitors are not going to know enough, or bother, to click on “no Comments.” Thanks for your continued help.

PS. I just used the URL you provided and click the page title which took me back to the home page. There is no way to get back to the URL you provided without using the backspace bar or going through the links I mentioned above. So I’m still mystified as to how you got to that URL.
