Problem after upgrade to WordPress 2.9

    Dear all,

    I just upgraded my Weblog-version from 2.7 to 2.9. I’m afraid I have to undo it, because I have the following problem:

    Since the upgrade the sign é show up as é. And the ‘-sign is now ’.

    I have a lot of those signs on my blog and it looks like a mess now. Does anyone know what to do?

    Really really hope someone can help, so I don’t have to undo the upgrade.

    p.s. I have back-ups of my database

    I just found out that the problem is caused by the wp-config.php-file. The problem occurs when I replace my old wp-config.php-file for the new wp-config.php-file. Does anyone know what to do? Thanks!
