Third! Love this plugin! 🙂
just removed, author does not answer, no feedback provided, seems that project is no longer alive
The plugin still works, you just need to make a small modification.
Open the file simple-tags.php, on line 35 you should see this:
if ( strpos($wp_version, ‘2.7’) !== false || strpos($wp_version, ‘2.8’) !== false ) {
change it to this:
if ( strpos($wp_version, ‘2.7’) !== false || strpos($wp_version, ‘2.8’) !== false || strpos($wp_version, ‘2.9’) !== false ) {
Like magic it works.
@ryanmc it works! thx a lot.
@ryanmc
Seems to work for me too, thanks!
@ryanmc Thank you! My blog would die without Simple Tags – I hope that the author understands how much we all appreciate it and can find the motivation to update it soon!
thanks @ryanmc! All solved. I love the Simple Tags plugin.
Thanx ryanmc – worked for me….
Hope author keeps plugin updated – it’s the best!
Thanks, ryanmc! This did the trick. Simple Tags is working in WP 2.9… as always, the WordPress community ROCKS!
Works for me also thanks!
This modification gives you the impression that that works, but really, the plugin works only in 60 %… Try the new RC1 version!
I used the automatic install for the RC1 version. Got a response that it installed successfully but there was a fatal error trying to reactivate it. The plugins page gives the impression that it is activated. The New Posts page tells me I need to enable Javascript in my browser for Simple Tags to work. Javascript is enabled in my browser. Simple Tags definitely not working with RC1. I hope someone can fix these problems soon.
