    l AM HAVING THIS ERROR message , i was trying to use maximum banner ais pugins,:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/ww28dat/public_html/blog/wp-includes/default-widgets.php on line 1033.
    l have reinstall the wordpress include thru file zilla,and l have delected the plugins but still showing same error . please help urgently

    Place this in one of your template files..

    delete_option('sidebar_widgets');

    ..(save), load the page once, then remove the code..

    Now add your widgets back, one at a time, and watch for the problem again, if the error occurs again, repeat the process above and remove the problematic widget.

    EDIT: If the error is loading the default widgets, the above will not help.

    What file name (of wp-includes folder) do I need put

    delete_option(‘sidebar_widgets’);

    into to?

    Add it to your theme’s index.php file then follow the instructions that t31os_ gave.
