• I have to wp sites with nextGEN installed. on one site the thumbs are shown like this, on the oter they come with a grey border, which I don^t like. I spent hours to get rid of this border, however, I could not find the solution.

  • Did you compare the nggallery.css files from the two sites? Maybe the ‘.ngg-thumbnail img’ styles are different.

    it is the same, to be absolutely sure, I copied the file over to the other server. I’ve done this already with the whole nextGEN plugin. these borders just remain!!!

    You might have another CSS file that is applying the border to your images. I recommend getting Firebug for Firefox, it is extremely useful to track down exactly what CSS files / declarations are affecting any element of your page.
