The last poll answer will suffer from inaccuracy because it is needed as buffer to sum up the whole percentage to 100%

First, thanks for a really great plugin!
This is a really big flaw from our point of view, here’s an example from our latest poll and boy does it look crazy, take a look at the “-2%” result: poll example
Wouldn’t it be better to show results that doesn’t add upp to exactly a 100%? We don’t think anyone will try and add up the numbers anyway to see if it’s a perfect 100% in total.
What do you guys think?

You will be surprise. It is really hard to satisfy people, a group of people want this and another group of people want that.
It is used to be no 100% then some users complain and I think it makes sense to make it 100%. In the next update, I will ensure it will not go below 0% http://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/179662/wp-polls/trunk
Would it be possible to create a setting for this? So that users can choose between the two different options?
Thanks for the fix regarding negative values.
It is too much work for something small, I have just to get users to live with it. 100% if possible and I will replace the negative % with 0%.
I use WP Polls a long time now but not very often.
My last poll where three anwers are allowd per voter the result was like this:

The way the percentage is calculated should be rewritten i think…

As far as I know, there’s a fix on the way for negative values.
