• Quick question. After I copy/paste or enter text into Word Press, how do I save the information but keep it private so only the editor may view this. I DON’T want to publish anything when I enter the information, that is go live with the content.

I just want to save it as a draft so I can enter graphics later and preview it on the webpage, how it will look, but not publish the content. What should I select as buttons etc in WP?

    Thanks.

  • .

in the admin area, when you write the post, there is this ‘save draft’ button – just above where you would hit ‘publish’.

even after you have published the post, you can change it to ‘draft’ – under ‘quickedit’ change the ‘status’ dropdown to ‘draft’ – you find it just above ‘update post’.

or when you edit the post, again in the ‘publish’ box top right you find the ‘status’ dropdown button where you can change to ‘draft’ 😉
